How do you convert a tab-delimited, 3-column .txt glossary (utf8) into a tmx format?
All I find online refers to the conversion of Wordfast TXT glossaries, but I don't use Wordfast.
An old thread suggests Olifant, but that seems to only deal with Wordfast TXT.

Thanks!

It's available online and all you have to do is open an account, upload your txt TM using the TM and Glossary feature and then choose the TMX format option to download it.

Wordfast converter Mar 10, 2016

You can use a very light and portable converter from Wordfast. It can work without Wordfast.

Both files (sqlite3.dll and WfConverter.exe) must be in one folder for proper operation.

…is obsolete. Try Okapi Tikal or TMX Maker from LF Aligner. Besides, if you have Python installed, try aligner3.py from my old aligner (in the files section of the Yahoo! group).

Thanks, everybody Mar 10, 2016

I didn't test all the suggestions yet, but LF Aligner's TMX Maker worked great (and I already had LF Aligner).

I tried Okapi Tikal but couldn't figure out what to do with it. Code is not my strong suit!

I also tried Wordfast Converter, but couldn't get it to work. Turns out I had ignored your instructions, Stepan, about putting both files in one folder. I'll try it and Heartsome when I get a chance.
