The ProZ.com Women in Translation initiative is continuously seeking enthusiastic volunteers—trainers, mentors, advocates, discussion participants, event hosts, among others.
If you would like to join the program as a volunteer and help other women with various needs, including getting started, advancing in their careers, marketing themselves, becoming leaders, finding a work-life balance, mentoring the next generation, planning their finances or even their retirement, or simply be there for them, complete the form and contribute to a supportive community for women in translation.

The initiative is open to all women working in the language industry, including translators, interpreters, and other language professionals. It welcomes participants at any stage of their careers, from newcomers to seasoned experts.
The initiative offers various activities, including virtual meetings, workshops, mentorship programs, and opportunities to collaborate on projects. It also aims to provide resources and support networks to address the unique challenges women face in the language industry.
Getting involved is easy! You can participate by joining virtual meetings, attending workshops, becoming a mentor or mentee, or contributing to discussions and projects. To express your interest and learn more, click here.
There is no cost to join the Women in Translation initiative. It is designed to be an inclusive and accessible program for all women in the language industry, with the goal of building a strong, supportive community. However, please note that some resources and tools available to participants may be for members only, even though membership is not a requirement to participate in the program.
While the initiative is specifically designed to support women in the language industry, men are welcome to support the program by promoting it, encouraging participation, or even volunteering as allies in some of its activities. However, core participation and leadership roles are focused on women.
