I'm a Swedish translator living in Berlin, Germany. Before settling down here, I spent a few years moving between Sweden, France, the UK and Switzerland to study and work. This is the short version of what I was up to:
In France I studied French and French Literature and did an internship at the Swedish Honorary Consulate in Lyon.
In the UK I completed a BA in Human Sciences and a MSc in Medical Anthropology at University of Oxford.
In Switzerland I worked for the scientific publisher Frontiers - more specifically with the following journals: Astronomy and Space Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Veterinary Science, Neurology, Psychiatry.
In Germany I worked as a science writer for a while before deciding to focus completely on translation.
I am very interdisciplinary and love taking on new challenges and topics. In the last couple of years, the majority of my work has been focused on technical translations, but I have also had the chance to translate a bit of non-fiction (popular science) which I very much enjoyed.
