The Forum home page no longer displays properly. Its width exceeds that of the screen and requires horizontal scrolling.
If I try to track posts for the new Linguistics forum, the Track button is inoperative and triggers the display of a search query instead !

Strange. I still get this very occasionally on individual pages within forums, but never on the Forums Home Page.
I think this occurs much less often since I changed screen size from 800x600 to 1024x768 pixels. You may well be using this already, but if not, it might be worth a try.

Up until today everything was fine on the home page of the forum section, but this morning I had the same problem as you John.
I have not changed any settings, and I gather this is part of the changes that Henry and his team are implementing... this is most likely just a temporary glitch.

I fixed the tracking button problem. I was not able to identify the width problem. Is it still there?

Thank you Henry, the width is fine with me tonight (I had the problem this morning when I first came online - I let it go at the time as I figured you were doing some work on it)

The Track button now works fine.
The display problem remains. My screen is set for 800 x 600 with the default Small Fonts setting. The Forum Home page is the only one which triggers the display of an horizontal scrollbar and the tracking options are partially hidden behind the vertical scrollbar.

Another thing I noticed:
No matter which forum you enter, the name of the Forum showing in the gray box at the top of each discussion page (when you enter a discussion) shows:
Forum: Technical Support (even if it is the French or any other forum)
Whereas I believe it should show the name of the forum you are actually *in*
