Suggestion on venue:

-Elephant and Castle on King at Simcoe
-Balzacs in the Distillery
-There's a pub on Wellesly (south side) between Yonge and Church next to the parking lot, they have a room upstairs. Will find out name.

Amero's suggestions sound good.
There is also the Granite Brewery on Eglinton and Mount Pleasant.
Last time we had our own table and paid separately, although it was a bit noisy. Great beer, good food.

...even if it is a little bit off the subway tracks. The Fox and Fiddle at Wellesley and Yonge is an alternative, even though I've never been there. I'm hoping it's a little less "smelly" (cheap cooking oils) than the one on Bloor and St. George.

As on Monday I have to plan my trip from Barrie to Toronto with visiting one more place in Toronto.
