During this small group session, participants will learn:

• the basics of how work is passed through ProZ.com
  
• what steps to take in order to improve their profiles and meet more clients
  

A member of ProZ.com staff will illustrate these points by reviewing 2-3 profiles of session attendees. Questions will be addressed at the end of the session. All participants are welcome to schedule a short follow-up call with the trainer after attending the session, during which they can - if needed - receive additional guidance in completing their ProZ.com profiles for success.

Participants will learn the basics of how work is passed through the site and, through the profile reviews of several session registrants, how to complete their ProZ.com profiles for success.

Take a few moments to complete this pre-session checklist to make sure that you get the most out of your attendance at this session:

• [ ] Not yet a member of the Certified PRO Network? Get an idea of what the program is about here.
  
• [ ] Is your profile 100% complete? If not, what is missing? Check the top left corner of your Profile Updater to find out.
  
• [ ] Make sure you that you have your basic profile fields complete: enter a tagline, a profile image, and make sure to define your site name.
  
• [ ] Learn what credentials are at ProZ.com. Do you have any? If so, be sure to declare them in your profile. A handy tutorial is available here.
  
• [ ] Do you have any content entered in your About Me section? If not, add some information there. See this blog post for tips.
  
• [ ] Not familiar with KudoZ? Learn the basics, and don't forget to check recent questions that have been posted in your language pairs and areas of expertise.
  
• [ ] Check out the visitors view of your profile and learn how a potential client sees your profile.

• For the visual section of the training course, we recommend that you have a 64kbps link. This means using an ISDN line or Broadband. Wireless connection is NOT recommended.

• We recommend that you log in 30 minutes in advance of the start time to prepare for the training course.
