I graduated from the Maastricht School of Translation and Interpreting in 2005, completing the full courses for both Spanish and English translation and interpreting. During my studies, I spent 5 months in Spain, working as in-house translator at a Flying School in Salamanca. In addition, I worked as desktop publisher, administrative assistant and international conference liaison. As from my graduation, I have been active as in-house translator and editor for Royal Philips Electronics in Eindhoven, and as a freelance translator, localiser and desktop publisher. In October 2005 I was sworn in as a translator of Spanish, English and Dutch at the district court of Roermond.
