Translation and proofreading of various texts from the languages English, Danish, Swedish, Dutch and Norwegian into Italian. Among the firms I translated for via various agencies: Saab, Volvo, Mercedes, General Motors, Renault, Opel, Atlas Copco, Whirlpool, Carlsberg, Kenwood, Amplifon, Ducati, plus the European Union. I also have 20+ years of experience in legal translations, both for privates and the EU, a good experience in touristic translations for some touristic agencies in Norway, a wide experience in financial/business/marketing field, some experience in medical translations for Reuters agency and occasionally I translated about Astronomy and other sciences. The translations I did for the EU were European laws on a wide variety of subjects, from engineering to chemistry, from safety rules in buses and public places to animal fostering, from import-export rules to alcoholic beverages, and many others. This was possible because I am always willing to challenge myself with new fields of specialization, which I am confident I can quickly acquire, just as I did in the past with my current ones. I have reference letters available from 3 agencies I am/was co-operating with, if need be.
