I am an electrical engineer with a Master's degree, having over 35 years of work experience in Sweden, the USA, Canada, Asia, and Israel. I also have an Executive MBA. I have also completed an MA in English Literature & Linguistics (Creative Writing) at Bar-Ilan University in Israel and published several professional engineering articles and creative non-fiction essays.

My translator career started when I read an English-Swedish engineering dictionary and found numerous mistakes in the 1st edition. I subsequently became a co-author of the 2nd edition. I have done translations of manuals, marketing material, and books in the engineering and medical fields but also in tourism and in marketing/human resources for many international firms (ref available).

I am a natural-born proofreader and editor and have proofread several pre-press academic books.

I hold eight patents (as inventor or co-inventor) in the fields of wireless communications and electrical network supervision/automation while working for ABB and Motorola. I lived and worked as an ex-pat sales engineer in Hong Kong for five years covering Asia-Pacific. Two of my professional publications received Best Paper Awards from the IEEE Power Engineering Society (PES). Lately, I have published several short stories in Creative Non-Fiction.
