Veli started his career as a technical translator in 1983 when he was still studying at Helsinki University of Technology. Since his M.Sc (mech.eng) graduation in 1985, he was a full-time translator till he passed away in 2023. I joined him in 2004 after a 15 year corporate career in high tech international businesses. I have a M.Sc. degree in electronics (Helsinki University of Technology, currently Aalto Univ.) and M.Sc. in Economics (Helsinki School of Business). I have lived and worked in Finland, Germany, and in the U.S. Currently, I run translation business both in Finland V-M Valimaa Oy) and the U.S (Rinttila, Inc)  so you can deal either with an European or an American company.
