Passionate about words, writing, and languages, studying translation was the obvious path for Charlotte. She graduated from the Higher Institute for Translators and Interpreters (Brussels) in June 2015 and has been a freelance translator and editor ever since. She will start attending the renowned European Center for Literary Translation (CETL) in January. Recently selected to translate the Amazon bestselling fantasy romance Cara's Twelve, she has also been a freelance linguist for several major translation agencies such as Easy Language, Global Linguo, Better Languages, but also fashion and design brands such as Farfetch and Acne. She has also been regularly translating for Amazon. Charlotte is a French native speaker, yet she lived in the US (Michigan, Wisconsin) and in England (London, Liverpool). She is now based in Paris. She is also a thorough proofreader; her translations will be proofread and edited when she will hand them over to you.
She was recently featured in Freelance Life Magazine!
Charlotte is a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (UK) and of the Emerging Translators Network.
