Came across the term "safety grounds" in the context of safety information for electrical equipment in the medical field. The only reference I've been able to find is "skyddsjord" for the singular of the term, but I am not sure if it is appropriate. Does anyone know?

The context is that safety grounds of one product should be common to a reference grounding point. Any help is appreciated!
