Ich habe eine Frage:

Ich arbeite nur mehr selten mit SDL Trados, weil viele meiner Kunden ihre eigene Übersetzungssoftware haben, und bin noch beim "altmodischen" SDL Trados. Jetzt möchte ich es für ein Projekt wieder verwenden. Nur funktioniert der Laptop, auf dem die Lizenz gespeichert ist, nicht mehr, und ich möchte die Lizenz zurückgeben, um sie auf meinem anderen PC zu verwenden. Ich arbeite nur mehr selten mit SDL Trados, weil viele meiner Kunden ihre eigene Übersetzungssoftware haben, und bin noch beim "altmodischen" SDL Trados. Jetzt möchte ich es für ein Projekt wieder verwenden. Nur funktioniert der Laptop, auf dem die Lizenz gespeichert ist, nicht mehr, und ich möchte die Lizenz zurückgeben, um sie auf meinem anderen PC zu verwenden. Ich habe die Festplatte des kaputten Laptops an meinem anderen PC angeschlossen und mir das eigentlich so vorgestellt, dass ich dann auf meinem PC mit Trados über den Licence Manager die Lizenz zurückgeben kann (offenbar gibt es ja keine andere Möglichkeit, z.B. über die Website). Das funktioniert aber nicht. Vielleicht eh logisch, weil die SDL Trados am PC nicht aktiviert ist.

Weiß jemand eine Lösung?

Use the Self Service option Oct 2, 2014

Hi,

You can reset your own license by using the Self Service option in your MySDL account for SDL Trados 2007 and SDL Trados Studio 2009.

Go to KB article #4295 ( http://kb.sdl.com/kb/article?ArticleId=4295 ) and follow the instructions.

There is no "return" button Oct 3, 2014

Thank you for your reply.

This "return licence" option was displayed with the previous website design, but now there is no such option...
Can you please check this?

I had a similar problem last year (hard disk crash). They were very helpful and resetted the licence.
