English term

Hatch

English to Ukrainian Tech/Engineering Ships, Sailing, Maritime
Hi
I am translating a poster with life safety tips for seafarers working on a wharf. It comprises several pictures with a short text under each of them.
The term I am struggling with is "a hatch" in the following phrases:

1. Never work at height or near an open hatch without proper safety equipment.
2. Never enter any fully open hatch without being authorised.

Possible versions are: "шлюз", "шлюзова камера" or just "люк". Will it the latter appropriate for a cargo ship?

The images similar to my poster are here:
