Spanish term

nivel abdominal en hígado

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) Abdominal CT scan - Lung Cancer
This is a CT scan report on a patient with a recurrence of lung cancer. The complete sentence says:

I'm confused by this sentence, and I don't know whether this is my lack of understanding, or bad writing (Rita Tepper described this person's writing as "pésimo español" in a previous question!).

Thanks for your comments and suggestions

Bad writing... not a lack of your understanding!

abdominal level liver

subtraction and morphological operations to segment abdominal organs.
