Color Coded pretranslation in TagEditor

I am using both TagEditor 6.5 and 7 (Freelance version) and would like to know if there is a way a running a pretranslation of files with a color coding. When I tried, the colors do not appear in the TagEditor file. But on 1 project, I received such colorcoded pretranslated file. Unfortunately, the custumer is unable to help on how his company managed it. So I wonder how to do it.
