Import with WinAlign, still old match

Hi,

I work with Trados 6.5 and use WinAlign for a project where I receive proofread files back. However after importing WinAlign into my TM (with the option "Overwrite" activated for the import), I still get the same old match when I open the translation unit instead of the proofread version which I intended to import. Any suggestions?

Hi Kristina:

Couldn't you instead export file as .txt after the process of winAlignement and then import it to a brand new TM or already existing one?

Try that.

Didn't explain myself clear enough Oct 9, 2006

Thanks Leonor, I think I should have been clearer in my explanation. I do export into a .txt file after the WinAlign process and then import this .txt file into my already existing TM, using the function import and overwrite.

That same old match is the 100% match your TM knows best.
The ALIGN! match is only (by default) a 98% match;
it might be waiting for you just around the corner.
(one click on the right arrow in 7.5)
