Hi there,

I edit a lot of files from external translators and when I try to clean up their Tag files (based on Powerpoint source files), I often get this message:

(-2147467259): Connection with server application error:
Font (unknown member) : Floating point value out of range. 3 is not in the valid range of -1 to 1.
File skipped!

Can anyone help me with this one? I wonder if it's something to do with the font formatting, but I can't really

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

what about locales / languages ... May 31, 2006

A wild guess - based on experience though - could be decimal-point-vs-decimal-comma screw-up:

Do you have cases where it works? ... with files from which land - yours?

And those who do not work? Some other country?

Hi Vito,

Thanks for the suggestion - I've experienced the point-comma screw up for formatting of bullet points for example......I have the localisation settings in Trados set for UK style.

I think you might be right, but it's very hard to test / analyse....

I'll keep on it and keep you posted,

mike
