In my TM I go to file -export and want to export a TM (Trados Freelance 7) in *tmx 1.4b format.
I get an export file, but the file is empty, although the TM is plenty of TU's.
What is wrong?

Did you add any filter and criterion? May 30, 2006

Hi,

For example, if you restricted the export results by indicating that you only want segments that were created after April, you might not get any results.

You can also check your access rights by going to File > Setup > Access Rights.

No filters used May 30, 2006

Thank you for your suggestion, but there are no user restrictions and I did not use any filters.
Somebody any idea?

Have you chosen the fields to be exported? May 30, 2006

You should at least choose the "Segments":

Go File, Export to bring up dialog box Export, double click on each of the two lines under the "[Segments]" (on the left) so that they appear in the top large field.

Fields to be exported May 30, 2006

Hello Antonín,

Thank you for your kind answer.
I never selected source and target language in the Field List before and I'm not sure whether that is absolutely necessary to make a correct export file, as my export files normally always contain both source and target language.
My normal workflow to export TM's:
File - export -I don't add anything in the filter constraints list - ok and save.
Till now I always had normal export files, but maybe I was ignorin
