Problems with TM in Trados 2021

Hello, colleagues. I would appreciate help with this problem: Autosuggest won't work. Whether I am trying to use a TM created from scratch or TMs already uploaded (related to completed projects, it won't suggest a thing. However, if there is a 100% coincidence, the whole segment is suggested. Does anyone know the reason for this? And how could one solve this?

Batch Tasks - Update Main Translation Memory.
After that, restart Trados and test again.

Autosuggest or fuzzy match? Mar 11

You can't create an Autosuggest dictionary from a blank TM. As far as I remember there must be 10000+ translation units to create one. Most probably you mean that fuzzy matches don't show up when you translate. If this is the case, navigate to Project Settings, Language Pairs, All Language Pairs, Translation Memory and Automated Translation, Search and make sure that the Minimum match value is other than 100%. Set it to 70 for example.


The other place to check is here: File, Options, AutoSuggest, make sure that all AutoSuggest providers (5 by default) are checked:


And finally, go to File, Options, AutoSuggest, Translation Memory and Automated Translation and make sure that all boxes are checked:


Don't forget to click OK (rather then the Close icon) to save changes. ▲ Collapse

I haven't read before that part of a blank TM and it's true, we should have, at least, 10000+ translation units to create an AutoSuggest Dictionary!
