Slow cursor movement in Dragon 8.0

I have this problem - well, more of an irritation really - about 50% of the time I use Dragon. For some reason, when I'm correcting text, instead of zipping backwards and forwards the cursor moves character by character. It's still quite fast, but enough to slow me down.

Does anyone have any idea why this is?
