I have at least one addict in my family. Incapable of switching off the iPhone, and checking it almost constantly to answer to messages at any time and everywhere.

.... good to know this is an addiction I am spared, I´d be in great danger though if "social media" should be substituted by "books" .... . But now I don´t know if I should be glad or feel ashamed ....

Looks like the original article was published by what was little more than a short-lived blog, or possibly an aggregator service. The domain itself gets re-registered from time to time for various purposes. For example, according to the Wayback Machine, in 2013 it was being used by some restaurant in Florida.
