I came across this software. Some agencies
do not use MS WORD Count. They say, it deliver wrong data. But this software
might be useful for you. NOT TESTED YET.

I can't wait to try it. I'm currently working on a project paid as per Trados analysis, so it won't apply here, but very first chance I get I'll post my experience.

I use FreeBudget (at: www.webbudget.com)

It is also freeware and I find it really useful (you can define word delimiters or use the delimiters of MS Word).

I will try this one too.

Failure with PDF Nov 14, 2003

I found your post as I was about to copy-paste a 10-page pdf document. So I downloaded the counter and installed it successfully but I tried twice to make it work with my pdf and twice the program failed...
Did anyone achieve better results with it since?
