As some of you may know, I maintain resource pages on my web site at www.marcprior.de/linux/linux.html for translators who use Linux.



The number of software applications and projects which are conceivably of interest to translators continues to grow, with the result that I can only report superficially on a large number of them.

The number of software applications and projects which are conceivably of interest to translators continues to grow, with the result that I can only report superficially on a large number of them.



If any of you have more experience with the applications mentioned or other Linux applications of interest and are willing to share that information on my site, or alternatively post it elsewhere where I can provide a link to it, I would be extremely grateful! Any contributors will of course receive full credit.

What about having a look at scribus Apr 3, 2003

Nice page, if you are listing all document manipulation applications available under Linux, you should add this DTP software :

http://web2.altmuehlnet.de/fschmid/



May not be easy to install, you will probably have to compile from source.

Thanks for the tip. DTP has long been an area neglected by Linux. I see the Scribus project is progressing very quickly though. There\'s now here\'s another DTP product, Artstream:
