The web analytics opt-out page has existed since 2009, so what's new with this announcement?
I must add that I can't recall having seen this opt-out page ever before. Is it linked to from users' profile pages in any obvious way?

TOPIC STARTER
Periodic use of analytics
Feb 1, 2013
Hi Sam, ProZ.com's use of analytics is not something new - we have used Google Analytics for short periods previously. The only "new" item is that ProZ.com is turning analytics back on. The ProZ.com privacy policy was updated in 2009 and included this analytics opt out. If you had previously opted out, those preferences will still be respected.
The analytics opt out is linked from the privacy policy.
Regards,
Drew
