Where is that usual/inevitable "...offensive appropriation of a term of great cultural importance to Indians" post? Why hasn't that Finnish Geronimo dropped by to draw our attention to this vile effrontery? Is it because, for once, Proz got this right and is organizing the event in India for Indians? You know, the place and people that got Columbus confused?

LOL!!! If Proz BB is anything to go by, there must be more translations agencies run by Eastern Europeans (with PMs located in Chisinau of course) than there are Kebab shops run by Turks or Arabs in the fair city of London. I wonder where the bloody hell they find all that prime real estate right in the middle of that super expensive city. No doubt offering 3 cents per word to the willing bottom feeders help them pay the rent...

It's hilarious. A pow-wow (misuse of a term that is offensive to all Native Americans- also offensively referred to as "Indians") to be held in the actual INDIA.

Once you earn a heap from MTPE, you’ll have a budget to attend all the Powwows (what a word) around the world.

Members who organise these get-togethers don't have the choice to use a different term for "pow-wow" and they don't have another way to deal with such very sensitive persons.
