Update to MemoQ 11.0 - yes? No? Maybe?

Currently using MemoQ for server projects with the client's license on a pretty much daily basis.

Client's server is running v9.12. I have v9.8.8.

Everything seems to work fine, except the occasional preview or export glitch.

Update? Or if it works, don't mess with it?

I'm still running 9.8, and I'm wondering if there are enough benefits in terms of mainly better speed to warrant the upgrade. Anyone?

If your memoQ client is a different major version than the server (in your case both 9), then you will probably run into issues. I have in the past, most recently when I upgraded my client to 11 to fix the problem with the DeepL plug-in, then couldn't use my server resources because the server was still on v10 and hadn't been updated to v11 yet.

the apperance of the progress bar has changed (imo to the worse) Sep 16, 2024

In my opinion, the new segmented appearance of the progress bar both in the dashboard, and also the project home panes looks bad. there should be an option to use or not use the apperance of the older (pre-memoQ 11) versions..
