Consecutive interpreting: The interpreter takes notes with a special note-taking system which was invented by Rozan to which he/she adds his/her own symbols (smilies sometimes come handy). When the speaker pauses or has finished his/her speech, he gives a summary of the entire speech into the target-language.
Sim.: Simultaneous interpreting: to interpret immediately into the target language what the speaker is saying.

Voice-over means (as its name indicates)that the original voice is being "overlaped" by another voive, this one reading the translation.
Dubbing eliminates completely original voices: the actors must also have "lip-sync", that is, they have to respect, as much as posible, the movements of the lips.

In addition to voice-overs or other audio recordings, another job that bilinguals can perform for firms in the film / multimedia industry is reformating / re-timing the display of translated subtitles shown in films and VT recordings.

Another (occasional) job is transcription and translation of audiotapes or the audio portions of broadcasts (news interviews and the like).
