I'm fairly new to the translation profession. From what I've gathered, gaining experience with voluntary translations is a good way to start out.

I'm fairly new to the translation profession. From what I've gathered, gaining experience with voluntary translations is a good way to start out.

I followed that advice and have been part of three voluntary translation projects for a few weeks now - a work I very much enjoy.

However, being a newbie I'm bound to make mistakes a professional would probably not do (anymore). So, I was wondering (and hoping) whether anybody with my language pair [En > De] would be willing to have a look at some (or parts of) my translations and perhaps provide me with some advice/corrections. If it makes a difference I'd also be willing to pay for this service.

I am aware that the majority of translators don't have the time to offer such a service. But maybe I'm lucky.
