Sennheiser microphone with Skype

My Sennheiser microphone works OK with Dragon Naturally Speaking but I have just installed Skype and I can't get it to work with that. Please help!

I noticed that Skype seems to forget settings. Go into options and audio properties and select your microphone as the input device.

I use a web camera with a built-in microphone and every now and then Skype loses the setting. I change the settings an everything goes back to normal.

Verify microphone parameters. Sep 6, 2007

Sometimes skype may put microphone to mute. Find out such parameters and unmute it.
