Example:
If your average rate for simultaneous interpretation is, say, USD 60 per hour for a pair/team of two (2) interpreters, you may want to charge anything between a buck and two bucks per minute of video film, considering that there are at least four translator/interpreter activities involved in this exercise: listening, comprehension, rendition, and speaking (which in your case is putting on paper & proofreading).
3. Approach an agency, such as SOFITA for instance, who have been doing this, inter alia, for quite some time now and are really among the best, and have a clear idea plus lots of experience. Whether they would be willing to share their price levels and approaches to pricing, is a different issue. All depends on how you ask. ▲ Collapse
