I removed Brave Browser from my system after reading some stories about their revenue model. The same reviews praised Vivaldi Browser. So I will give it a try: https://vivaldi.com/getstarted/

I tried it some time ago, mainly for the mail feature which is anything but user friendly. IMHO the browser is quite standard, nothing that makes me want to leave Opera.

I have installed it some time ago Jul 19, 2023

mainly because of its own integrated ad blocker, so I only get occasionally unnerved by requests to turn off my ad blocker(s). I still prefer Firefox, though - I guess because I am used to it.

Other thread Jul 19, 2023

It was discussed in this thread in the past, you may find some feedback in there. https://www.proz.com/forum/internet_for_translators/357070-vivaldi_browser_as_a_productivity_do_it_all_for_translators.html

I haven't used it a lot lately, so I guess it has evolved since then.
