I am Telecommunications engineer with 8 years work experience, and a Spanish national. At the beginning of my career and during 3 years I worked as a consultant in software development with Accenture in Spain and Chile. Afterwards I worked as a digital IC design engineer in Belgium with Alcatel and Thomson, for 5 years. This included several assignments as a team leader in India, and 1 year in a project management role in Antwerp.

In my last contract I worked as a freelance consultant for a Spanish IT company called netZima, in a software development project for Telefónica (based in Madrid, since June until September/07). The contract involved some proofing jobs as well (in Spanish, for business documents), and I'm currently translating their web page (www.netzima.com).

My English is fluent since it was the working language during my 5 years in Belgium. I have experience in writing technical documents and business proposals, and as a project manager I wrote feasibility and concept studies, technical specifications, financial and cost analysis, etc.

Writing has always been my passion, since I was quite young. I am took a sabbatical year in Nov/05 and I finished a novel in Spanish in Apr/07. I am seeking an editor and have started working on my next novel.
