I'm a native German, raised near the German-Danish border where I learned Danish at the age of 3. During my entire upbringing, I went to Danish institutions like kindergarten, school, university and have been working at a Danish university for the last 12 years. Since 2022, I also work freelance as a communication designer.

I have a Master's Degree in International Business Communication and Communication Design (German and English) and am state approved graphic designer.

During my work at the university, I have primarily translated applications for external funding (EU programmes) and websites for a nano science center, among others - mostly from Danish or German to British English or vice versa.

During my freelance career I have just recently translated the book Fremtidssans written by Anne Skare Nielsen and Henrik Good Hovgaard from Danish to German, which is some kind of coaching book within the field of future trend spotting.

I would love to translate novels from Danish to German, but seeing that I already have a well-paid 30 hour employment, I can't work full-time on such a project.
