Growing up in a bicultural, bilingual Mexican-American household has helped me develop an affinity and ease for switching to and from languages and cultural contexts. As I chose to do a concentration in Latin America for my Global Studies major, I knew I wanted to take on the other major language of the region, Portuguese. Little did I know I would eventually move to Brazil years later. 

Now after 10 years of teaching with the occasional translation project, I've committed to translation full-time, offering translation, editing, proofreading and subtitling services.

Como mexicana-americana, el crecer en un hogar bicultural y bilingüe me ha ayudado desarrollar una afinidad y facilidad con cambiar entre idiomas y contextos culturales. Al elegir mi especialización en América Latina para mi carrera de Estudios Mundiales, sabía que quería dominar el otro idioma principal de la región, el portugués. Ni me imaginaba que años después me fuera vivir a Brasil.

Ahora después de 10 años de enseñar inglés con proyectos de traducción de vez en cuando, me he dedicado a la traducción de tiempo completo, ofreciendo servicios en traducción, edición, revisión y subtitulaje.
