Spanish term

alumbrar las pistas

I've been thinking along the lines of brighten up, spotlight, highlight, but it doesn't necessarily have to be anything to do with light.

"Heat up" is a bit uninspired here. This is the music scene, not physics class. ;-))

a) The asker has already discarded this notion - they're not sound and light engineerings, FCS. b) I never suggested "burn up - What's with people today?

Hot up vs Heat up

Andy: I apologize if I came across as insulting in any way. That was certainly not my intention.

I suppose my mistake was not checking Ian's profile (he is in the UK). My English is that of North America (Canada/US). We use the term "heat up." Hot up is NEVER used here.
