Discussion

katerina turevich (asker) Jul 21, 2009:
There is another sentence in the text: "• Euthanasie wordt behandeld bij EPD Medisch en niet bij FG Inpatient." Also completely ;loose of any other text, and really constituting an attention point for creating future software in the hospital.
Lianne van de Ven Jul 20, 2009:
OK=OR Ben je daar zo zeker van? What kind of document is this anyway? I asked for more context.....
katerina turevich (asker) Jul 20, 2009:
Late night humor. Perhaps not appropriate. But isn't it fun to make potential sentences like that? We shall discuss it, I think. But seriously, POS is preoperative score, which translates into length of hospital stay, and it is a used abbreviation in both EN, and NL. OK = OR. So FG HAS to mean smth. related to surgery. Family Guidance. Tja.
Ron Willems Jul 20, 2009:
in the privacy of the operating room? highly unlikely...
katerina turevich (asker) Jul 20, 2009:
I think it's this: http://www.ngfg.nl/. So that the sentence becomes then: "in the privacy of the operating room". Tomorrow.
katerina turevich (asker) Jul 20, 2009:
It appears actually twice: once in English, and later on in Dutch: POS wordt verder besproken in FG OK. But the two sentences are completely loose of any text around it, which is in one case about preparations for admission. and in the other about nazorg. I only find references to a (hospital) salary system. https://www.werk.nl/werknl/werknemer/vacaturePrint.do?encryp... So could it just be a strange definition of an OR professional? More goggling, I suppose:0)
Ron Willems Jul 19, 2009:
Dutch or English? I presume FG is a Dutch abbreviation (like OK for operatiekamer), but could you please confirm this and specify the DUTCH sentence in which FG occurs?
Lianne van de Ven Jul 19, 2009:

If you had posted more information initially...

I'd like to repeat this here to everyone posting questions. Lately I have to ask for more context all the time. It may feel to the asker as if you don't want to show that you don't know anything, but really, we are not clairvoyant or all specialists here on the forums.

It is also very important to choose the right topic which lets us know more about the context. In this case the topic is rather development of software.

BTW: EPD is electronisch patienten dossier.
Dus Euthanasie wordt behandeld bij het Electronisch Patienten Dossier (EPD) en niet bij de Focus Groep "Inpatient" (which is English, btw).
