reactive lymph nodes

Reactive lymph nodes are harmless and not an indication of cancer. The examiner can tell by the form and fat content of the nodes. THis is good news, that's why they're saying that they should be observed over time, i.e. periodically checked by ultrasound.

You can omit the "inflammatory" part as it is clear that this is an inflammatory response.
