Engströms Sv>En Teknisk ordbok defines 'bockrygg' as "bearer, ledger, stringer". The reference illustrates a 'bockrygg' as a single stand-alone beam or joist.
Options are cross-beam, girder.
My point is to bring out its singularity. It could be part of a gantry, but this is a structure including side supports as illustrated in Sven's reference and defined in OED.
