INSTITUTION-DESIGNED CLASS
I feel that translating espacio as 'space' is misleading. remember that 'espacio curricular' is usually translated as 'class' or 'subject' (UK). So, it's not referring to a physical location, but to the subject matter which determined by the educational establishment.
I have opted for 'designed' rather than 'defined', I think it works slightly better. Also, even though institutionally designed class might be more gramatically correct , I think it would also give a different meaning.
