Like dragons through knights

"This sword will allow you to rip through enemy armies like dragons through knights!"
Disse il maniscalco del mondo medievale! L'idea è che si tratta di un proverbio moderno ("questa spada penetra nei plotoni nemici come un coltello nel burro") girato in chiave fantasy.
Per ora ho un letterale "Come un drago attraverso un cavaliere", vi viene in mente qualcosa di carino?

I would change the verb "rip" to "slice" for this one - it's a collocation that goes with the expression and with "knife".

Also, you could switch "hot" to "knife" instead of "butter" - "slice through your enemies like a hot knife through butter".
Either way we often think of the butter as being soft from standing outside of the rerigerator for an extended period of time. Long enough to warm and get soft as often happens - so the knife slicing through it is like going through nothing at all.
