Bio
I am an MA student at the University of Alcalá on the Comunicación Intercultural, Interpretación y Traducción en los Servicios Públicos programme (Sept. 2022 -Sept. 2023) and a University of Bristol LLB law and Spanish graduate (2018-2022). As I have formal training in two legal systems, I have high-level, professional and working knowledge of law perfect for use in legal translation. The similarities of the UK and US legal systems and similar terminology, mean I'm well suited for legal translation from Spanish to English for both UK and US audiences.
I completed an Erasmus year at the University of Valencia (2020-21) studying Spanish administrative, civil, criminal and constitutional law and a module in private Roman law.
I have work experience in administration, hospitality and education sectors. I have worked in bilingual environments and in international teams both in the UK and Spain. I am able to boast skills in: corporate awareness, multilingual international communication, problem solving, management, administration, teaching and research skills.
I am a volunteer TED translator and subtitler working in English and Spanish>English translations.
