English to Italian: The Most Lavish Promise Of God? Detailed field: Religion
Source text - English Every day for all eternity — without pause or end — the riches of the glory of God’s grace in Christ will become increasingly great and beautiful in our perception of them. We are finite. They are “immeasurable” — infinite. Therefore, we cannot ever take them in fully. Let that sink in. There will always be more. Gloriously more. Forever. Only an infinite being can fully take in infinite riches. But we can, and we will, spend eternity taking in more and more of these riches. There is a necessary correlation between eternal existence and infinite blessing. It takes the one to experience the other. Eternal life is essential for the enjoyment of immeasurable riches of grace.
Experience is an absolutely essential word here — it takes the one to experience the other. Paul has already said in the previous chapter that from before creation God planned to make the universe — including the new creation and the age to come — a theater not only for the display of “the immeasurable riches of his grace” (Ephesians 2:7), but also for the joyful “praise of the glory of his grace” (Ephesians 1:6, 12, 14, my translation). This is the experience implied in Ephesians 2:7. What does it mean for us — for our experience — when God lavishes on us forever “the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus”? It means joy. To use the words of the apostle Peter, “joy that is inexpressible and glorified” (1 Peter 1:8, my translation).
Translation - Italian Ogni giorno, per l'eternità (senza pause e senza fine) la ricchezza della gloria di Dio in Cristo diverrà sempre più grande e meravigliosa nella nostra percezione della stessa. Noi siamo limitati. La ricchezza di Dio è "incommensurabile"; infinita. Per questa ragione, non possiamo comprenderla sino in fondo. Rifletteteci un momento: Ce ne sarà sempre in abbondanza. Un'abbondanza gloriosa. In eterno. Soltanto un Essere infinito può comprendere del tutto una ricchezza altrettanto infinita. Ma noi possiamo passare un'eternità accogliendo quella ricchezza in modo sempre maggiore (e lo faremo!). Esiste una correlazione necessaria tra esistenza infinita e infinita benedizione. Bisogna ottenere la prima per fare esperienza della seconda. La vita eterna è essenziale per godere dell'incommensurabile ricchezza della Grazia di Dio.
Esperienza è in questo caso una parola assolutamente essenziale: è necessaria la prima per fare esperienza della seconda. Paolo aveva già affermato nel capitolo precedente della Lettera agli Efesini che, prima della Creazione, Dio aveva già in programma di fare dell'Universo (inclusa la nuova Creazione e i tempi che verranno) il palcoscenico non solo della dimostrazione della "straordinaria ricchezza della sua grazia mediante la sua bontà verso di noi in Cristo Gesù" (lettera agli Efesini, 2:7), ma anche della meravigliosa "lode dello splendore della sua grazia" (Lettera agli Efesini, 1:6, 12, 14, la mia traduzione). Questa è l'esperienza promessa nel secondo capitolo della Lettera agli Efesini (2:7). Cosa vuol dire, per quanto riguarda la nostra esperienza, la promessa di Dio di elargire per sempre su di noi "la straordinaria ricchezza della sua grazia mediante la sua bontà verso di noi in Cristo Gesù"? Vuol dire eterna gioia. Per citare l'apostolo Paolo, si tratta di una gioia "indicibile e gloriosa" (Prima lettera di Pietro, 1:8, la mia traduzione).

Source text - Italian La mia esperienza professionale mi ha permesso di incontrare migliaia di bambini e adolescenti e quello che spesso ho notato è che non sempre hanno le idee chiare quando si parla di alimentazione.
Spesso capita che ricordano un gusto, una consistenza, un profumo, ma basta una semplice distrazione da altre sensazioni vissute contemporaneamente al consumo di cibo, da non ricordare i nomi pei piatti e nemmeno gli ingredienti.
Troppo spesso le richieste sono dettate dalla “pancia”: “Voglio la pizza, il gelato, quella merendina lì”, ma in genere non dedicano l’attenzione dei grandi a ciò che mangiano. Un rapido sguardo a colore, odore e consistenza apparente, per giudicare se può essere loro gradito, e subito dopo parte il meccanismo del “mi piace-non mi piace”. Questo meccanismo è quanto ha portato oggi ad un numero crescente di bambini obesi e in sovrappeso nel nostro Paese.
Un bambino obeso è un probabile adulto cardiopatico.
Translation - English My professional experience has brought me to meet thousands of children and adolescents, and one common thing I noticed is that they don’t always get the full picture when it comes to food and habits.
They often happen to remember a special taste, a peculiar consistency or a particular smell, but one simple distraction coming from other sensations they experienced while eating is enough for them to forget both the name of the dish and that of its ingredients.
Their requests are too typically dictated by their ‘gut’: “I want pizza; I want ice cream; I want that one snack”, but they never generally pay the same heed grownups pay to what they eat. One quick look at color, smell and apparent consistency is all it takes for them to decide whether they might enjoy something; and immediately after that, the mechanism of “I like it / I like it not” kicks in. Such automatism has led to an increasing number of obese and overweight children in Italy today.
And an obese child is likely to become a cardiopathic adult.

About me
Spent 3 years perfecting the art of translating and interpreting at University SSML of Varese and had several experiences carried out for Varese News, Biomedia srl and Wikipedia in the last year and a half. Have translated newspaper articles dealing with a wide range of topics (such as art, international cuisine, movies & TV and more) as well as a volume centered around children's nutrition. The latter was divided into three parts: a comic-book, a cookbook and a middle section mainly dedicated to nutritional advice. I've been practicing the other two languages I currently speak (namely French and German) with the purpose of perfecting their use, and therefore being able to fully exploit them in the near future.
