My freelance business is Purple Verb Language Services.


I specialise in automotive, marketing and technical translations but have experience of  various other subjects - please see the 'Expertise' section for more  information.


I have been working as a freelance translator since April 2021. Before that, I spent 3.5 years working in house for one of the world's leading language service providers, where I gained extensive experience of translating, post-editing, proofreading and subtitling to a high standard.

 

My education background comprises a First Class Degree in Modern Languages from Durham University and an MA in Applied Translation Studies from the University of Leeds, for which I was awarded Distinction.
