Eva Becerra worked,

she successfully completed a Spanish Translation professional training program at
Georgia State University. And she has been able to steadily work in the
freelance translation business since 2004. Additionally, in 2016, Eva professionally
embarked in a new career, interpretation, in both medical and school settings.

Eva Becerra is accredited
in the Spanish<>English language pair both as a translator and a medical
interpreter; and she is language-skilled in other pairs such as French<>English
and French<>Spanish. Besides her professional accreditation as a
Spanish<>English translator, she successfully completed the Bridging The
Gap intensive training course for medical interpreters in Spanish and holds
the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters (NBCMI) certification
in Spanish.

Currently, Eva continues
being a practicing freelance Spanish<>English translator, with almost 20 years
of experience, specialized in the education and social services sectors. Her
most recent assignment has been the Spanish translation of website pages of a
non-profit organization, related to services to immigrants. Conjunctively, since
2016, she has been a contracting Spanish interpreter, providing Spanish medical
as well as school interpreting services, both in person and remotely (OP/VC). She
is also a permanent substitute teacher for a public school system. And last, she
has also been involved with national, state, and local entities and non-profit
organizations, either as a regular volunteer or as a translator and/or
interpreter. On a separate note, Eva was member of La Casa de España in Georgia
for more than a decade and committed herself to hold various positions in its
board of members during 2008-2014. She was also awarded a certificate of
recognition for her great contribution in 2014.

Eva's translation client portfolio includes entities related to social services and education such as schools and universities, and organizations for the women/immigrants/citizens' rights protection. It also includes private companies in the investing, financial, legal and medical vending sectors, as well as private individuals.
