BA (1st class honours) in Chinese studies from the University of Cambridge, 2016. Currently, I am nearing the completion of my MA in Interpreting and Translation (Chinese and English bi-directional) at the University of Bath. I have previously translated four full-length books from Chinese to English for commercial publication, including two novels, a poetry collection, and an autobiography. I have work experience in education translation, and specialty experience in art and humanities translation. Having studied classical Chinese at Cambridge, I am familiar and competent with the full range of registers used in written Chinese. I have previously spent two years living in mainland China and Taiwan, and an additional year and a half living in the USA. As such, I am fluent in the differences between US and UK written English, and between differences in standard usage of written Chinese between mainland China and Taiwan.
