I grew up bilingual and this enhanced my language capacities. I have always been passionate about languages and how they reflect the history, culture and emotional background of a country and see myself as an ambassador of transferring these backgrounds and help people speaking different languages to communicate.
During my translation and interpretation studies at the University of Leipzig, I acquired profound knowledge in global political issues such as climate change, trade, economy, finance and the structure of international organizations for both English and Spanish.
Moreover, I specialized in intercultural communication, doing research on the influence of culture in business relations. Therefore, my strengths lie in being flexible and being capable of creating a balance between the source text and the target culture´s expectations.
With reference to the Spanish language, I worked as a translator and simultaneous interpreter for demanding clients such as
· the German Chamber of Commerce in Leipzig
· various German NGO´s and - the Federal Development Aid Agency "Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit" (GIZ) in Managua, Nicaragua
· the German Embassy in Managua, Nicaragua and
· the Argentinian Embassy in Berlin, assisting in top-class political meetings.
