In the description of some microscope slides showing cells the text states "Vacuoles cerclees de rose: lymphocytes rhodocirces" (apologies for missing accents) I can't find this word anywhere. Can anybody help?

These pink-staining rings around the vacuoles are typical of Hunter's syndrome. (I think the paper you are translating mentions this).
FromLatin, rhodo- = pink, circe- = circle/ring
I can't find "rhodocirce" anywhere either. It may be antiquated or even invented!
This book mention the pink-staining ring but there doesn't seem to be any special name for lymphocytes containg them.

Here is a French paper referring to the "pink rings lymphocyte" that was apparently "new" in 1988.

...Rimmed vacuoles are typically detected as small vacuoles lined by many red granules (the "rim")on modified Gomori trichrome staining."
If it is a vacuolar condition, then it is the vacuoles which are lined or rimmed by the coloured granules of red/rose coloration rather than the cytoplasmic membrane of the cell itself.
I do not know what the Asker is translating, just the question of how to express "rhodcirce" in English.
For that I would say "red rimmed".
Note it is the vacuole and not the lymphocyte that is rimmed with red granules

tricky indeed. But for "rhodocirce", it seems "red rimmed" is how the literature describes it. I do not know what condition it is or the rest of the story.
