I have been working as a translator since 2007. During this period I have worked with several translation companies, both as an in-house and as a freelance translator, and with direct clients.

My main fields of expertise are Software Localization, Instructions Manuals, EU Affairs, Fashion and Textiles, Literature and Cinema. I am able to comply with strict rules of terminology but also to play with words while translating magazines and books for children. My key strength as a translator is a great mastering of my native language – Portuguese, that is why my main concern while translating a text is to deliver a work that does not seem like a translation to the final reader but rather a text originally written in the target language.
