Anton Palych Chekhov once noted,
that the clever likes to learn, and the fool - to teach.
How many fools have I met in my life -
I have well deserved to receive a medal.

Fools can't help but gathering in flocks and herds.
With their main one in the front, and in all his beauty.
When I was a child, I honestly believed, that one day I'd wake up
when all fools are gone.

Oh, my childhood dreams - what a mistake,
only on what clouds was I floating.
Insidious smile off Mother Nature's lips...
I must have miscalculated something or somewhere.

As for the clever, he walks alone around in circles,
he values his loneliness above all.
And he so easily can be caught with bare hands,
so that very soon they all, one by one, will be caught.

When they all will be caught - the epoch will start,
that one can't describe, or even not just think of...
With the clever - it is too troublesome, with the fool - too bad.
Something in the middle, that is what is needed. Where can it be found?

It is beneficial to remain a fool, but too thin,
Want to be a clever one, but will end beaten up...
Insidious prophecies off Mother Nature's lips.
Maybe one day some sort of a middle will be found.

Bio
I have a Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Post Grad in Computer Science. I also have professional qualifications in Financial Brokerage and Plant and Machinery Valuations. I started my translation career 20 years ago in my student years. I worked as a translator in Russia, Israel and New Zealand, participating in the projects in engineering research, business appraisals, software project management, technical marketing, market research, industrial design and automation projects, industrial project management.

My main interest is technical translations. Splitting my time in half between translations and working in the industry enriches my professional outlook as a translator and also provides me with a new learning material as an engineer and project manager.

As a client, please be assured, if I am working on your document, I would have a professional understanding of its every detail. If I translate, for example, your machine manual, I can as well confidently fulfil the tasks of its design, commissioning or maintenance. I am an engineer after all!

My other translation interests include translations of the articles on history of the USSR, I do a lot of research for precision translation of the specific terminology of the Soviet times.
